DECEMBER 2017 EMPTIES // MINI REVIEW + WILL I REPURCHASE?

Thursday, December 14, 2017

As promised to myself, I am back with a new empties post before my pile built up too much! With this post, I am hoping to provide better mini reviews because I will not be dying of carpel tunnel from typing my thoughts on 12+ products! Let's just jump right into it and talk about the these fabulous products!

It took me a while to use this baby up because it was in my shower at my house, as I usually shower at my boyfriend's! (There are currently nine people living in my house, so the shower is always being used!) When showering at home, I looked forward to using this because I do believe it lived up to the volumizing claims, plus it smelt so good! It thoroughly cleansed my hair without stripping and left it super shiny. I will definitely be repurchasing at some point in time.

This is one of my top five foundations, I actually have a review on it right here: Born This Way Review. It has such a beautiful finish and is my go-to full coverage foundation! Every time I put it on, I am wowed by how flawless it makes my skin look! I'm obsessed! I'm sad to see this go, but I will most definitely repurchase sometime in the future after I finish up some of my other ones!

Masqueology, Under Eye Gold Gel Mask = $2.50
These eyes gels were awesome! The best thing about these is the price for two eye gels! I love how you don't need to put these in fridge because they are automatically cooling. It was so soothing, and came with a seal so you can protect the second pair, which I am still in awe with, because most eye gels sets are around the $20 range for 4! I will definitely purchase for myself!
* I was unable to find online link, but I have seen it at Walmart!
* This product was sent to me complimentary by Masqueology and Octoly in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoy using hair oils on my ends when I get out of the shower, especially in the winter! This oil was very nice, but to be honest, I couldn't see a difference in my hair between this one and many of the other ones I have tried, like the One n' Only Argan Oil Treatment, which is significantly less expensive. Though this one is agave oil as opposed to argan oil, I just couldn't tell a difference. It smelt good though! I will not be repurchasing.

This was an impulse buy a few years ago and I finally finished it because I always forgot to spray it on my pillow. I bought this because I believe it was mentioned in a few videos by Blair Fowler. It smelt lovely and I did feel relaxed, however, I do think this is kind of a gimmicky product. I don't think I will be repurchasing! It was definely a cool product to try out though!

The price tag on this was hefty and while it was super fun to use, and enjoyable to hear my sibling's funny comments about it, I don't think it was worth it. It didn't provide any benefit to my skin. If you want to try it out, I recommend spending less money on the smaller size. or maybe even save your Sephora point for a deluxe size they often have! I will not be repurchasing.

I had my eye on this for quite some time, so once I was in need of a new eye cream, I snagged this up! I purchased this in April of 2016, so it has taken me a while to finish it up, but I powered through it. This has a thicker consistency, which is ideal for the winter time. It made my eyes very hydrated, but I felt like it did not soak into my skin as well as I wanted it to. When I would wake up in the morning, I would notice some of the cream still left under my eyes, to which I didn't mind. As far as noticing any change in my eye wrinkles, well I am 24 so I don't notice wrinkles on the regular. I don't think I will be repurchasing, because while it was good, it wasn't life changing and there are a few I want to try!

And the grand total of my empties for December 2017 is $219! Dang, that's a lot, but I am glad the products were used up and sitting on my shelf going bad! I am definitely going to be more cautious of that in 2018!

Have you tried any of these? I would love to know your thoughts!
