I gotta say, I have been pretty proud of myself for focusing on using up products! As a beauty junkie who has an addictive personality, all I want to do is buy, and buy, and buy. I just love shopping, and it's my downfall. I have been saving up for a house the last year and I am finally at the point where I can purchase, so I am proud in that sense to. Because I was saving, that meant less spending, and like I said, as a beauty junkie- It was hard, but I knew I wanted a house more than another basket of products that I probably wouldn't use up before expiration. So lucky for both of us, we now can talk about trash (and good things) about these products I have finished!

BEAUTY PRODUCTS I RETURNED // WHY I DIDN'T LIKE THEM

I personally love reading posts regarding what didn't work for people, or why they won't be buying certain items, so I figured I'd hope back onto my blog and share the items I have returned (what i can remember, lol) within the last few years! Some of these were returned because of product quality, and some of these were returned because of my own personal preference, such as product consistency, shade range, etc. If these products work for you, please don't take offense to this post- In fact, please let me know! It would warm my cold dead heart to know they work well for other people!

This year, I made a goal for myself to be more mindful when purchasing beauty products. There is now a voice in my head that says "Christina, you have 3 shampoos at home, you don't need another one, especially considering you don't shower enough". Also, when purchasing items, I try to do more research before purchasing, but sometimes that doesn't guarantee I will like a product. With that being said, if I don't like the product, why should I keep it in my collection? I should return right away if I know I don't love it.

JUNE 2018 EMPTIES // MINI REVIEW + WILL I REPURCHASE?

Hello, friend! Today is another empties post by yours truly! I have been really bad at posting on here, and my other beauty platforms, for no reason other than my lack of motivation due the Instagram algorithm. In the midst of that, I felt I lost my passion for the beauty industry and realized I needed a change to re-motivate myself.

I changed my diet, decluttered a lot of my beauty items (which you can find for sale here), and rearrange my room and vanity area. I'm excited for this change, which is just in time for my 25th birthday (June 7th)!

Now let's talk about all these goodies (and some not so good) that I have used up!

So my goal for 2018 was to have at least three posts per month on this blog, and I failed miserably so far.. Yikes. Now that February is over and I feel super refreshed from my trip to Punta Cana, I feel motivated to put out much more content on here, so you should hopefully be hearing from me more often!

Well friends, it's that time again! Another empties post from little ole me! I have been really trying to use up products before purchasing like items, and I feel like I am making decent progress! In fact, I haven't bought any beauty related items at all since the New Year and I really haven't needed any because well.. I am a beauty addict and am fully stocked- which is embarrassing, yet helpful!
